V-Day Sacramento proudly presents a special ONE NIGHT ONLY performance of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" as a burlesque and variety show benefiting SWOP Sacramento.

The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler‘s interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace, the piece celebrates women’s sexuality and strength. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives.

This production will be ASL interpreted.
The 24th Street Theatre is a wheelchair accessible facility.

V-Day Sacramento is a local grassroots movement to end violence against all women, girls, transgender, gender non-conforming and fluid identified people, bringing attention to the issues of sexual harassment, assault, domestic violence, rape, incest, and trafficking. An entirely volunteer-run organization, V-Day promotes creative events to raise awareness and funds for anti-violence organizations in the Sacramento area. Using the power of art and activism, 100% of the funds raised are donated to local nonprofits that provide critical resources and services to survivors of violence.
